Queen not laying eggs (myrmica rubra)

Hey Folks!

I purchased a colony of fire ants in August 2019 consisting of 1 queen and 5 workers. My main issue is she hasn't produced any eggs yet? They also skipped hibernation even though I moved them to a cold room. They feed and drink regularly and seem happy. I keep them in a very small modular type set up

Any advice would be great.

I also keep the brood chamber hydrated so humidity shouldn't be an issue.

What do you give them to eat. If you don't give them protein (insects or meat) then try giving the colony protein.
