Keeping ants in the garage

Hi

I am looking to keep ants but at the minute the wife doesn’t want them in the house. We are moving soon to a house with a garage. I live in the north east of England so temperatures can get cold in winter. Is it possible to keep ants in a garage? If so, what extra equipment would I need to help them?

I would hope that ants that live in England can cope with the temperature, but you should probably get a heating cable or any other device that can warm them up. You may need to also make sure they do not escape, try using some chemicals that will prevent them from escaping, since a garage means that you may not be able to check on them too often.
