I myself am not very good at crafting ant nests, yet I would love to help with some species. Here are some very common ones found all over Europe that are for beginners-

Lasius niger and flavus
Myrmica rubra
Camponotus ligniperda
Formica fusca
Tetramorium caespitum
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
