Ants and Magnets

So I am planning to build a customized acrylic formicarium and outworld, and I would like to incorporate magnets into the design in order to keep lids and such secure while still being clean. However, I am worried about the effects magnets could have on any ants I put in there. Are there any dangers I should be aware of with this kinda of build?

There are quite a few nests out there that use rare earth magnets for holding lids and or covers on or down, I haven't see anything to the effect of adverse effects on the ants.
