Bad sign or good sign?

I've had this queen for about a week now and just gave it a little check-up. I found that her eggs were laid out everywhere and didnt really seem like she was tending to them. Is this a sign that she is infertile? If so, should I release her or am I just being impatient? :? https://image.ibb.co/dyEd...

Both Look Like Workers To Me.
Yes, both workers, I didn't catch any queens. I was just trying to find out what was around me so I could learn about them and along the way, find out when their nuptial flight season would be

Charlotte, NC. Just wanted to see what is around me

One suuuper small, one pretty large. My test tube is 13 mm diameter, so the first ant is around 2-3mm. The second an...

Hey fellow ant enthusiasts! I made the official decision to start queen searching this past Sunday (07/23/17) and surprisingly, I was able to find a queen at my workplace the next day on Monday around 2:00 PM after lunch! The company is right on the border of North and South Carolina, specifically b...

This is a side picture of her. Her thorax looks quite large

This is an underbelly picture. I tried to get as close as I could, but I hope the image quality did not mess up in the process
