They have loads of brood and are eating 5 fruit flies a day! I give them a cap of honey that gets half drinked everyday. Those girls are hungry!

My ants have 10 workers and eat 5 fruit flies a day. Remember you can’t over feed a colony. It just depends on how hungry they are!

MOVE HER ASAP! That is the bacteria Serratia marcescens, it is very harmful to ants. It killed my queen with eggs. So move her to a fresh tube! its been 5 hours since i attached the old test tube to the new one via cloth and tape, but the queen refuses to move, the 3 workers were happy with the new...

Could corn starch work as a barrier?

I would use baby powder but there are studies it can give you cancer. So I stay far away from baby powder. So could corn starch be used as a barrier?

Sorry for the photo my dad took it because I’m on vacation! Just last night I was looking at Pheidole queens and thinking “Hey these look like my tetramorium queen!” What size are Pheidole queens? There isn't an exact size for them but the average species size is about the same as the one you have ...
