A normal setup is fine. Put your Queen somewhere safe and dry and check on her once every few 1-2 weeks.

But they are not polygynus so after the first workers eclose the queens will fight till one queen is left.

No it’s fully claustral so you don’t need to feed it.

Be patient. It can take several hours to several weeks for a Queen ant to lay eggs. Give it some more time. If it still doesn’t lay eggs I would release it because it might not be fertile.

Red velvet ant. But don’t be mistaken the Red velvet is a wasp not an ant. If I were you I would release as soon as possible because their stings hurt like crazy!!!!!
