Aww... Well hopefully you will catch one next year. Try digging up foundation Chambers after rains, it works for lots of desert species.

From what I've heard, it's best to keep them around 75 degrees and stable temperature is key for success of the fungus garden. Good luck!

June to July, after rains. These tend to fly only after larger storms.

Larvae do but eggs don't need to be fed. That would make sense for larvae though.

Temnothorax Hunting
I found a few small colonies of what I think are temnothorax, they nested in dirt. The other day I went hunting in acorns and sticks, but found nothing other than some beetle larvae. I wanted to know if anyone had a method of looking for this species, and what to look for. Any help would be apprecia...
