i think it's Technomyrmex. i have quite literally never heard of it Have you heard of an ant called the white footed ant? That species is Technomyrmex albipes and they are highly invasive, they look quite similar to black crazy ants and so you may not know about them since they look almost identica...

I caught this queen about a month-ish ago. i found her with a male attatched and with a stupid mite on her leg. i scraped the mite off and she has a bit of a scar but i think she pulled through. I originally thought that she was some common camponotus queen and didn't put much thought into it. but ...
