I myself have no experience whatsoever with camponotus ants but i think that sounds like a very good and interesting idea. But i could be completely wrong so i would wait for an experts opinion.

where did you find her, she might be Temnothorax depending on where she was found, Myrmica normally has one or more pronounced spikes in between her messosoma and gaster. Myrmica rubra
I know that Myrmica Rubra are a very polygynous specie of ant with up to hundreds of queens in one nest but is a single queen able to raise a colony. I ask this cuz I found a single myrmica queen (I believe it's Rubra). Also if I find another one will it be accepted into the colony.
