Re: Will ant larvae eat ant jelly

Re: In search of a mentor!

Haven't been on here for a little while. Happy to report that the ants are doing well in their new nest and huge connected outworld! My son wants to know what the recommended humidity level should be in the outworld for Camponotus. We have a fan blowing over the outworld which we made a mesh cover ...

AC Hyrbid nest 2.0 Glass is glued to the top Well, once the ants are out you could shoot high pressure water through the holes to try to get it all out. Probably will do that. when I released them there were 7 living workers, and I checked the nest recently, they got rid of all the dead bodys but t...

Re: Hibernation concerns

Hi! I'm a new ant keeper who recently obtained a Camponotus pennsylvanicus colony. It's in a test tube set up, 10-20 workers strong, and has been fed with drops of sugar water and chunks of mealworm pre-hibernation. In the process of moving the colony to my college dorm, it was warmed up enough for...

Re: Welcome back to the Camponotus Crew! (New topic, old one got too long)

Hey! I posted this on a different topic, but didn't get any traction and am low on time to make a decision. Thought I'd try here since it's a camponotus colony Hi!
