You're probably fine, the queen might just be helping out the young workers or something. I wouldn't worry too much about it Maybe try increasing the amount you feed them? They may just be more hungry.

Are you feeding them? They will most likely die without workers, since you took them from an already established colony :/

We're gonna need a closer picture of the queen, if that's possible.

It looks to be Formica Subsericea. Can someone confirm or give input? I'm not too sure.
