The queen and workers escaped!
But don't worry. I caught another colony. This time it has four queens, and around 100 workers. The queens are laying eggs, and the brood piles are growing by the hundreds every day. (Typical Solenopsis molesta egg laying rate)

I recently started keeping Camponouus atrox. It contains 1queen and 8workers. I was planning to and another samll colony of these ants to have multi queens. But from my reserch i found out that in natural these ants rarly have multi queens. What chould i do. Will my ants join forces with each other...

All Formica are relatively easy to keep. And yes, they will lay their own eggs once they have host workers. Although introducing host workers may be difficult.
