Fruit flies and mealworms seem to work the best. I think that the grasshoppers might work but not the river shrimp

I think that none of the AC formicaria are suitable for myrmecocystus as they MUST hang upside down or the queen might become a replete and lay less eggs

It is because they will accept new queens and so are technically immortal just like F rufa, P longicornis,and many queenless species
