Another thing, any namesuggestions would be welcome since right now I have them named overfed fighters which I found funny but the only problem is they aren't really fighters. In fact they are pretty lazy, just chilling in their tube only moving when I check on them and to go get water.

I live in wisconsin and it gets to about freezing every night so since my garage is insulated I probs could put them there.

Ok thanks for that, they still have not moved but the queen moved a bit. I know they are getting water from the cotton as I see them over there but I think they have not moved because they dont have brood that could be endangered by the mold therefore it is safer to not move for them. Thanks

I quite like where I live in wisconsin but my dream species is camponotus novaeboracensis or maybe tetramorium immigrans, but personally fid carpenter ants fasinating because of their large size and ploymorphisim.

Im sorry but I let her go a while ago as I needed the test tube for other purposes but what was strange was that she was only a cuple of mm long but was definatley a queen.
