It's been about a week since I discovered my first queen. I added more coco fiber to the mix. I ordered some large test tubes from eBay I also ordered a strange gel ant farm looks cool can't wait till it shows up it appears to be a modular setup so I can attached new worlds to it (I'm super excited...

I have to say that looks very similar to the one I caught...someone identified mine as camponotus modoc...

Mine has a large black body with red legs.

Hey guys so I have this very large ant nest up my drive way with queens all over it ready for nuptial flight and I want to grab a few in your opinion how do you think I should do this?
