I have lasius myself and they really are escape artist s lol they even manage to drown themselves in the water feeder I have so you d really want to make sure the seals are good on bottom where you have the water cos they will get in there and drown

I read another person on a different site say dried high quality dog food either rice or chicken ? And to not give seeds if there's no major s to chew seeds !

Did you clean the set up before you out them in ? There may be chemical residue in it do ya still have the test tube the came in?

Plus they say there fine at room temp as well but you could use heating system but would that even help lol

That's the thing I have her in an antkit all in one form which is supposed to keep her covered in testube ! Not sure if you need to feed fruit most research does say seeds and protein.
