I caught a Camponotus queen and it layed eggs about 3 weeks ago and they still haven’t hatched and I’m wondering if this is normal and if it isn’t what can I do to fix it?

Dude, it takes 8 weeks for the eggs to become a worker.

It didn't look like that but maybe it was just because I hadn't had a chance to get a good look at her but, what I was sure is its gaster is very rounded and had very noticeable white patterns on it. The queen ant was full black too.

It could also be a Camponotus pensivanicas

I was in school waiting to be picked up by my friends, while waiting I saw big black workers near me about 2cm then I looked behind and I saw a queen she was about just 1cm with a big gaster I couldn't catch her as I might scare her I also couldn't take a picture of her as she was fast, she was bla...

are you checking on your queens to much? this could be the reason she is stressed. if not try to keep her in the dark.

Sometimes queens will lay trophic eggs just for eating. This is a sign the queen may not be fertilized.

I followed someones advice and I got a cacoon and a bunch of eggs! But thanks for your advice!

I am looking for a queen ant or a colony. I live in Somerville Massachusetts and I wish to buy or for someone to nicely donate. I will take any species. JUST PLEASE!
