I'm sorry, but I do not have pics of just the queen before her workers. Do you need a better pic of just the queen?

Sorry the camponotus Ant is not 2 to 2.5 cm, I miss read I think it's 1.5 to 2 cm. Closer to 1.5cm

Thanks for the reply, therealantman, however I do not think that is right because....and I could be wrong about this also, but I have a colony of those Camponotus Castaneus, and both queens are extremely different both in size and in how they react. I could upload a pic of both colony's next to each...

so why when I attach a photo (less then 1 MB in size) it shows it in the attachments section but after I submit the post the picture disappears from the post?

Why would it allow me to create an image attachment and then not actually attach the photo?

Queen and Brood ID Needed

I can not for the life of me find these ants ID.

Found in Central Florida, in heavy wooded area.

They move very fast compared to other ants in the area. I was thinking they might be a type of crazy ant because of how fast they move.

Any help on there ID would be very much appreciated. Thanks
