I was planting flowers in a flower box about a month ago and she was in the dirt of the box.

I found a wingless camponotus queen a few weeks ago and tubed her. She still has not laid any eggs. Does anyone know what would happen if I put larvae from another colony in with this queen? Do you think it would entice her to start laying her own, at the same time taking no care of the foreign larv...

I did place a bit of honey in the tube a few days ago and she did gobble it up, I just don't know how many resources to give at this point, and should I change her out of the tube if it looks like it's getting contaminated from the food items.

Can anyone verify if this is a queen? I'm in Ohio and was planting flowers a few weeks ago and she came crawling out of the flower box to my surprise. We had a warm spell with rain at the time.
