I don’t think I would be able to correctly start a parasitic colony. Do you know if there are any other ant species with a more vibrant color that are native to New York?

I didn’t actually measure it but to compare it, it’s slightly smaller than my Tetramorium species. So it’s probably around 6mm sorry about that lol

Citronella Ants (Lasius Interjectus)
Hi, I've recently wanted to start up a colony of citronella ants. I am absolutely in love with their vibrant yellow color, and decent size. I was wondering if anyone might know where and when I might find these queens. I live in the United States, New York. Can anyone help me out?
