don't worry too much lasius niger are quite hardy once she feels safe again she will inspect the test tube and find also to be a suitable place to start laying just give her a few weeks and all should be good Put her in dark place and she will lay eggs. They are most definitely queens! Congratulations on your first catch :) To me they look like lasius niger queens, although a bit light in color compared to the ones I'm keeping. Maybe it is the photo or they might be from a different specie from the lasius family, I'm not great with ant ID but ther...
