I was watching a colony moving,and this one worker was carrying what looks like to be a queen.I caught the worker and queen and several others with larva and placed them in a 2.5 gallon aquarium until I get home and place them in the tar heels phalanx.All the ants placed the larva around what looks ...

I got a small colony of ants,Queen and about 8 workers.The queen is about 5.5 mm and workers are about 2.5.They have redish head and thorax,with the Gastro is black.The workers when they feel threatened turn their Gastro towards the threat.Seems they are spraying from their Gastro.I found th Em unde...

Cow killers is solitary wasp.Thats why they have such a bad sting.Never want two females in the same container.
