I'm going on 1year with a queen and no eggs. I don't know what to do .if I let her go she will just die.

So now I've joined the club of queens not moving to the new test tube. I've done like everybody else and attached old and new tube. New is completely dark and a light is shining on old tube with no water. She has eggs and won't move. It's been only 2 days.she seems dedicated to staying with the eggs...

Just looked now and sure enough she's carrying a dead ant around! Maybe she's a crazy ant.

Do you have sand or dirt in nest, or just the plastic floor?

How many workers? Maybe there's too much space. Any other ideas out there?

No, don't mix them until you have expert advice. I mixed 2 queens and one killed the other within minutes.
