the entrance is on the bottom it has a hole on the front part that goes up to the first chamber

i collected a queen from a colony but i took workers but no brood will the queen still lay eggs???

i have a iridomyrmex colony of a few workers, do you think i can feed it earthworms or slaters/pill bugs?

im not sure what species but definitely a queen. I'm pretty sure its Camponotus semitestaceus, like above.

ive painted it with water colours and i might just leave it because now you cant see the mold. is that fine?

I made a new plaster formicarium and it's been fine for about a week then this black mold started growing on it what should I do? for now, I might just paint it with watercolours.btw there has been no ants in it. thnx
