So I have seen that it is best to place a Camponotus colony into a formicarium until the colony reaches about 20-50 workers, which does not occur until the second year.

I would wait to move here into a larger nest until she reaches about 20 workers. They may not be too keen on moving in at first, but will eventually move in later on.

If possible, I would recommend connecting another temporary outworld to their nest and have the Food placed in their for a while. You will hopefully see more ants foraging in the new area.
