Re: Random worker ant.
Found this 3.5mm worker ant down in central Iowa. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what she was, I thought she was Crematogaster at first, but I did some research and no longer think so. Here are some photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5qxepXeidUvZdqc27 Nylandria or Lasius possibly Thanks...

Re: Wingless queens in nest???
Early in the summer I brood boosted my tetramorium immigrans. Through doing that I acquired a number of queens and kings. I boosted from 4 colonies so not all the queens/kings were directly related. They attempted to fly in my AC outworld for several weeks before I thought they had died off judging...

Re: Ant tower large watering question and Pogonomyrmex
Hi, I have a Pogonomyrmex queen, who now has about 8-9 workers. I have an Ant Tower large. I understand the basics of the tower, the water trough in question. Last time I filled it, it saturated the dirt way to much, and I believe Pogo need around 15-25% humidity in the nest for seed storage. What ...

Re: Workers killed queen
I have a lasius queen with 5 workers that's decided to stop laying eggs since her nanintics. I decided to do some more anting even though I know it's really late in the season. I flipped a small rock and found a medium sized colony of crematogaster with a bunch of brood. Under another small rock un...
