I have a queen ant who I am a bit unsure of and I am making thinking that it might be a prenolepis ant as she is laying eggs even though it is winter... Can Prenolepis Imparis ants be black/dark brown?

I have a queen ant who I am a bit unsure of and I am making thinking that it might be a prenolepis ant as she is laying eggs even though it is winter...
