I haven't had any luck. I'm hoping I'll atleast see singns of nuptuial flights happening since it'll be the first warm day after a while of cold rainy days.
How did you get your tetremorium colony?

Re: Colorado Nupital Flights

Hey guys! Just found a moving colony of black largish ants, they were polygenis and had a couple queens... I think the word you were trying to use was polymorphic? I'm definitely going anting today, it's been raining for the last couple of days here. It's not as warm as I would have hoped though No...

Hey guys! Just found a moving colony of black largish ants, they were polygenis and had a couple queens, will upload pics soon ;-) it was early in the morning so they were still cold and huddled together which I found interesting. They might be a lasius sp.?

Re: Colorado Nupital Flights

XD I really hope to be able to catch some fertile queens, already found a bunch of alates without wings at a pogonomyrmex nest, does that mean they've mated?

PS will be uploading pics hopefully, takes a lot of time i just dont have at the moment though
PPS saw them today
