So if you give them a way to nest in their outworld, they will. If you wanna use this as an outworld put a very thin layer of gravel, or alternatively make a ground plate using grout and decorate with fake plants. The first two queens are 6mm. But the second one was a bit over 5mm. Hope this helps!! :)

You could place in the center a tube with small holes drilled into it, and use that tube as a watering chamber. Possibly cap it and put a tiny spout that you can close with stopper of some sort so the ants can't access it. That way the watering chamber is hidden, but also allows for water to spread...

Probably isn't Niger, because that's mostly European. I know it is a Lasius queen, but I'm not sure what species. I would think Flavus if they are found over there. I think they're just a little too dark to be lasius flavus queens. I've done a small amount of research online and the closest i've fo...

They cant be Lasius Neoniger queens as two of them already laid a couple of eggs. Any other ideas?
