Something you can try is to use two kitchen towels, or smaller similar things and place the test tube or other set up on top of it, assuming it isn't heavy, a majority of the vibrations from physical object will be lessened, sadly can't do much about the air vibrations.

Most small DIY shops also sell it and its only about £1-2 for a metre of it. As for alternatives, like the others said, straws if it is short but I wouldn't expect that to work out well if you need to connect multiple straws.
