Natural Set up

Hi there, I know that there are some ant keepers that give their queens a natural space for their founding stage, where they dig their own claustral chamber. I wanted to do the same for my queen, but I was wondering how she would get water. It has been a couple of weeks now that I have had this Pave...

PLEASE HELP!! Is it a Fire Ant queen??? :0

Hello, I caught a queen ant, and I first thought it was a Tetramorium species, but I wanted to double-check:

Is she a Fire Ant queen, and are they legal pets in Australia?

Thank you.

Re: For some reason all the ant queens i catch always die

Oh no... Well, queen ants only have, like, 15% chance of making it past the founding stage in the wild. So I wouldn't lose hope yet if I were you. I'm sure you know this, but just make sure that your queen is somewhere that is quiet and dark, try to leave her peace, but make sure she has enough wate...

BluMoon's Ant Keeping Journey

Hello there! This is my first time keeping ants (or rather a ant right now), and I have decided to keep a journal so I can record this exciting journey. Here is photo of my queen ant, caught in Australia about a week ago: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10Jtj28wobuErJdRIriX8w0RCfQvJUcNA/view?usp=dri...

Another Outworld (maybe?)

Hello there, I was browsing the AntsCanada store and there was only one type of Outworld you could buy. I noticed that in some of the AntsCanada videos, there have been other Outworlds that looked perhaps a bit smaller, and it would be good if there could be some variety in the Outworlds. Maybe it w...

Ant Towers other Formicariums -. Please Help

Hi there, I am trying to decide which of the nests and formicariums I should buy, and I had a couple of questions about the ant towers and other bits and bobs: 1: Is the inner cylinder removable (the center thing)? 2: And for a colony that is said to grow quickly (tetramorium to be exact), would you...
