Any Formica worker cocoons will do. Eggs are something you do not want to collect. ok ty but after i collected them should i let her get them or should i put it in the test tube and do i need to feed her with some food of some kind? This is a Formica social parasite queen, from either the sanguinea or rufa group. A good picture of the front of the head will tell that much at least. She will need Formica pupae from another colony if you want to keep her. Unlike single Lasius social parasites, Formica will open cocoons. can you ...
