good heavy rain today, so i decided to take my first ant queen search. not 5 mins in, do i find this Ant... im pretty sure it is a queen, I think it looks like these red and black ants with majors a block away. shown is a transferred millimeter ruler. id guess around 7mm. found today, in Louisiana. ...

i see a bunch of different formicariums designed for different species of ants.
how important is it to get the correct formicarium for the correct ant?
if i get a camponotus formicarium, and happen to get a lasius queen, is it really that bad.
or perhaps i hope for lasius, but get tetra...
