Re: odontomachus help
Leave her be would be my advice and just provide a new tuve that's covered close to her current tube. She will move if she feels the need.

Re: odontomachus help
There's a large possibility she is eating and you don't see her doing so. Just provide a sugar source constantly and small insects or insect parts to her once a day. Mine really liked termites.

Re: Pogonomyrmex?
I wasn't saying you were. Simply saying they probably aren't p. badius and they probably aren't parasites. Not that you said they were either of those or that you said p. badius were parasites.

Re: Trap Jaw Ant Setup

Re: Hello from Payson, Arizona!
Hi there! It's always great to have new ant keepers around. I am from New Mexico myself so likely we will encounter many of the same species which I find awesome. I don't know of many people here who are keeping the desert species.

Re: Pogonomyrmex?
Hm, I did not know that. Thank you for the information. I doubt that is what these ants are though. Pogonomyrmex badius isn't found in Oklahoma and they aren't social parasites because the queen likely founded on her own.

I'm unable to ID it tough, I'm sorry, I'm still learning in this field. I umderstand why you asked for species, they re...
