When keeping ants in the garage in a temperate region, make sure it doesn't get VERY cold all year round. If it gets about -5 F or lower I would keep them in your basement or attic or even in your fridge if you can. It's alway better to be safe than sorry. Yeah, if it gets too cold I'm going to bri...

RIP the first queen I ever caught!

:( I just started ant keeping this year and caught 10 queens, the first one I caught, i tucked away in a dark place to found her colony, and she ran out of water, I was never there to giver her anymore and just discovered her :( good thing I caught a bunch!!!

I keep my ants in the garage and it's my first year, will they be ok in the winter because I live in a temperate region and I don't want them to die!
