No seriously,Leave a Large peice of wood to rot for about a year or so,Then crack it.

Yeah you'll probably kill or stress the termite but there's the chance you can get her Unharmed.They don't need brood just the king,queen,and a couple workers.

I dont really Keep Ants much more,But One of My Hobbies Being Gardening,I Would say The Following would be Nutritious and Easy to get in for A Measly ant.

Marigolds
Grass
Lettuce

It’s a myth. Insects can’t see the color red. That fact Has nothing to do with tinting light “red”. The film you use to cover your ants just dulls the light so it’s not as bright for the ants.
