Ants started dying, I have nowhere to buy formicarium, can I release them to the wild?

Caring for ants is difficult for me, I cannot buy formicarium. I was going to build one instead, time goes by and I can't do anything for them and ants started dying. (messor spp) I thought it is because water almost run out, then also there were no seeds, I put some seeds. Let's hope they will surv...

Re: Camponotus help + update Messors + dreams

UPD:
N1 has more than 10 workers, named her Electa. Put some seeds in, they seem to enjoy sesame and chia seeds.
N2 is still in very poor condition. She lays eggs, but no larvae grow.
N3 has 2 workers. going well.
C1 has got some larvae, pretty big.

Re: Camponotus help + update Messors + dreams

Messor queen n. 1 now has got a worker! It is very small and weak. The queen picked the worker up in panic. So I was scared too and quickly put the test tube back in the dark wardrobe.

Re: Camponotus help + update Messors + dreams

She must be okay. But it looks like she left an egg behind. I was not patient enough and disconnected...

Re: Antnests c. pennsylvanicus journal

Since you are the only person who comments my post, I came to yours. There is an intense history of survival full of downs and ups. I subscribe. Why do you ever think she is able to restart a colony? Maybe it could work, if you add to her a wild worker. I saw ant keeper who did it. He soaked a worke...
