Yeah! I have one that has about 25 workers or so.
That's so cool! I'll have to message you for tips and stuff if I get a successful colony!

I Got A Queen!

I'm sure of it this time! She just crawled across the pavement, wings and all. She had them off before I caught her but catch her I did! https://i.imgur.com/2WeKDSq.jpg https://i.imgur.com/FURsbsn.jpg Considering her shape and the fact I caught her today, I'm pretty sure she's a labor day ant, but I...

Re: Test Tube Alternatives

Test Tube Alternatives

So I really want to go out and catch a queen this season! I know it's getting late but I just moved back and most of this summer has been settling in. It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow and I thought this would be an excellent time to go get some queens. However, I don't have any test tubes. I...

Hello from South Ontario!

Hello! I've finally moved back from the East Coast and since I don't intend to move outside of the province again so I figured it would be a good time to maybe start trying my hand at ant keeping! I studied science but my main focus was geology and not biology, that being said I've always had an int...
