Forms generate content, and content generates customers. I'm not involved in the business obviously, b...

Stigmatoma pallipes care help
Caught what I believe is a Stigmatoma pallipes queen tonight. Anyone have any care info for them? ie: are they parasitic and are they semi-claustral?
Anyone with experience, please share.
Thanks,

Re: Ontario rainfall watching
Lots flying in Toronto today. Caught several Myrmica rubra in the pool, saw a load of Solenopsis molesta queens (too small for my liking), caught a Stimatoma pallipes I think, and in Markham Lasius neoniger are flying.

Wouldn't that be unsightly on your outworld though?
FYI, my personal experience has shown me that PTFE works great for smaller species, but my larger species seem to be able to walk right over it. For the larger species, I find talc better.

Hopefully a general species identification can be ma...

Re: Ontario rainfall watching
It looks exactly the same as this, caught by me last year around the same time and same place. https://forum.AntsCanada.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=4522 Here is a shot of the probable L. murphyi caught around the same time again on my Driveway. The one caught tonight looks a bit more more like the firs...

Caught some Lasius muphyi queens this evening after the rain we had today. Extremely high humidity right now.
