Man I have the opposite problem. I find nothing but Tetramorium. 2 medium sized colonies and 2 fresh caught two days ago. Try rural areas or a bike path would be my recommendation.

A couple days ago I checked on my Camponotus(Herculeanus I believe) and I saw there were a couple black things in their setup. She's definitely of camponotus genus, but I'm not sure what kind. I'm guessing Pensilvanicus but I'd like some more knowledgeable opinions.
