Re: Best Beginner Nest Type
I am not sure what nest style to go with. I really really love the look of terariums like the Hacienda del Derado, but I feel, as this is my first colony, that I do not have the experience for something like that. Re: Yui907's Journal [with Videos and Images]
I suppose I'll start by catching you up on my colony's origin story. https://s7.postimg.org/osv67jpm3/20160713_153010.jpg A Company - The Early Days I originally got two Messor barbarus queens with no brood. My my mother seemed interested and took one queen and we decided to see who could get 100 an...

Yui907's Journal [with Videos and Images]
Hello world. Here's my intro: Hello, I'm Yui907. I'm from Yorkshire and I'm currently studying for a health-related degree. I'm an army reservist and I currently own a Messor barbarus colony, which started from a single Queen. So now that we're acquainted, let's talk business. I'd like to encourage ...

Well, only been here for a few moments and I have a feeling some features are missing from this forum.
Allowing us to use [s]strikethrough[/s] text and links would be nice, but those permissions are off for the average user.

Re: Microscope recommendations for identification
Amazingly, the Galaxy S5 and above have reasonable magnifier apps with camera features, however it does suffer very badly with even a little camera shake, so holding the device against another object for stability is a must.
