hello, a few days ago i caught some Camponotus sp colonies. I am sure that they are either C. Modoc or C. pennsylvanicus. I am trying to figure out feeding. One colony only had a few workers - maybe 8 or so, of which I was only able to get 4. Brood is larva stage, and I was able to gather that. anot...

I Did take 5 workers but there was no brood in her Hole/chamber. i'm reluctant to combine them until i know that they wont kill her. i was removing sections of the log some distance away from her chamber. this is how i found the rest of the colony. there was brood there but the workers quickly remov...
