I feed my colony every other day! :D like this:

Monday: Honey
Tuesday: Nothing
Wednesday: Small spoon on protein jelly
Thursday: Nothing
Friday: Insect's
Saturday & Sunday: Nothing

Then I just repeat! :P Hope you have a fun feeding time!

NO! Don't MIX!!!! :o :shock: !!!!!!! Never introduce a worker ant that did not originate from the colony! You can introduce eggs, larvae, and pupa from another colony! But it is extremely risky! :idea: :oops:

There are many ways for a test tube transplant! The most efficient is to put the colony tube in a large container with another tube (Remember the talcum & Alcohol Barrier)! Yes, I have! But the problem is it will take longer than usual to move them in! I moved mine in when I was at 30-40ish workers! If you are anxious try buying a hybrid nest mini (note: 20-30 workers)! Then after a while move them into the camponotus nest! :)
