was telling them about that type of ant Ohh, sorry about that. :oops: from what i got and what not i loved bigger ants BUT they do grow slower then smaller ants but you can see bigger ants better if he loves to watch ants Camponotus sansabeanus is not aggressive ants but they will protect the queen...

its vary common for lassis sp to do this i seen it happen in my back yard 2 times now its pretty neat to see them move a queen as she always go last and have 10 guards around her/moving her yeah that is normal unless you see the queen start to fight back like bite at the workers then your good

im new to ant keeping and i got a Camponotus sansabeanus but this fall i hope to get southern fire ant queen they also grow fast but they do sting so id say try to get him a Camponotus sansabeanus they are a slow bace growing ant but they are also on the bigger side of the ants so he can see them go...

anyone know the nuptial flight in kansas ? i found a queen 2 days ago but it was windy and she got away but i did find total of 10 queens in my back yard with out a black light just looking around in my back yard (next year i gotta try the black light i just found out about it ) now im wondering is ...
