Currently waiting for my first pupea to hatch to make sure I got fertilized queens then GAN here I come!

6-9-22 Update

Following is a few pictures of my 3 girls! One is getting close to its first worker as you see the cocooned pupea and another has a nice size pupea.

Just applied to be an Indiana GAN Farmer.. I am in Southern Indiana.

Currently in the tube, I have 2 camponotus herculeanus colonies that have eggs and pupea..

What part of Southern Indiana?

Actually, I’m not sure if this is bad of me, but I mix raw egg whites with some honey and they seem to really enjoy it.

6-4-2022 The GAN farmer I purchased my camponotus pennsylvanicus from had 3 herculeanus queens he caught that he traded me for 4 empty tubes..
