one of the four colonies almost died completely, now it only has the queen and two workers. is there any way that I could save that colony?

I don't think that the workers are dying because of age since no cacoons. the brood does not seem to be developing at all but I will definitely try feeding ants more protean.

hello I am new to ants and got into the hobby about 6 months ago and any help would be appreciated I originally had 4 colonies of carpenter ants, two of them where containing about 50 ants and the other 2 had about 25 workers I got these ants about half a year ago and in about two months moved them ...
