So, from what I have gathered, to hibernate ants during winter you just stock them up on water and put them someplace with temperatures in the 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit? I would argue that Camponotus are April-September and that tetramorium are a bit more broad. Brachymyrmex can also fly as early as March or April for the South.

Orange slices.
Try apples or other non acidic fruits instead. Idk if that affects them at all tho. How did you keep them
