Looking for a queen ant in Manitoba. My queen stopped laying eggs in her test tube for the last 2 months.

Married, no children. Wife is not thrilled with my ant keeping, but she accepts it since I can't have a dog due to her being allergic.

Caught her in Winnipeg, Manitoba - Canada - Caught her at 21:00 hours on July 5th. Laid her first eggs after two and a half weeks in her AntsCanada Vertical ( Small ) Formicarium on July 22nd. I put her right into a Formicarium, I didn't have the test tubes in yet so I didn't have any other choice. She walks right up the the water and sticks her head in.

Why are you people so lucky? I just got back from walking around outside where I only saw 1 ant, wasn't even a queen and it might have just been a wingless wasp. This includes stalking around several "anthills" and checking under stones/rocks looking behind buildings and in part of a field. I went ...

They're illegal now in Manitoba, Canada but since I had it before the ban.... I own a Channa Bleheri, otherwise known as a Rainbow Snakehead. They're very invasive species as far as predatory fish go. They're is a Brissel-nosed Pleco in there too. A Ropefish and a Zebra Danoi that was a feeder fish....

I'm in Winnipeg, Manitoba ( Canada ) and I can confirm that at the very least Camponotus are flying about. I've caught 7 so far from just walking around at work.
