Ah, ok. I thought so, thanks for the help guys! I'll release her in the morning, and hope she finds a Lasius americanus or neoniger colony to do her interesting evolutionary things to.

My carpenter ant colony of 3 years just ended. The queen is dead I had so much hope for them the last 2 years, always energetic and prolific and hungry for more food, but this year they just stopped feeding the queen.
